Take 400 company employees from all over the world. Bring them all together in one of London's most spectacular and spacious riverside parks. Put on all the thrills and spills of the circus in a stunning location. Add even more sizzling entertainment. Include exquisite catering for all tastes. Simmer under a wonderful sunny sky. And what do you get? A memorable day for all.

On June 24th Beyond Certainty commandeered Battersea Park for a lavish one-day extravaganza that exceeded everyone's expectations. Corporate staff from across the globe experienced all the fun of the circus in an informal and vibrant setting. Colourful marquees were dotted around the park offering a host of participatory attractions.

Guests enjoyed an exciting range of activities from tight-rope walking and clown school to giant inflatable games, magicians and balloon modellers. An ‘internet café' enabled them to keep in touch online at their leisure. For those who perhaps indulged in a little too much activity, massage therapists were on hand to provide the perfect way to relax - or gear up for the rest of the festivities. And the “luxury loos” proved to be an instant hit!!

When it came to food and drink, guests were spoilt for choice. Full gourmet catering included ‘watering stations' superbly stocked with every drink guests could wish for. Candy floss, hot dogs and popcorn stands added to the rich circus theme. Finally, the day culminated in a mouthwatering hog roast buffet. Nothing was left to chance. Beyond Certainty had everything covered, including the chance of bad weather. But, fortunately we didn't need shelter and the glorious sunshine topped off a perfect day!

All in all, a triumphant day for all, and a hugely successful team-building and bonding exercise for our clients and guests.

BC was privileged to be asked to organise this year's Oyster's event on behalf of the leading National Tourist Offices in the UK. 23 offices participated, all helping to create a unique atmosphere and a sparkling evening brimming with diverse experiences. The Royal Exchange made an ideal setting as guests were greeted by the exhilarating sights and sounds of African drummers. The musicians led them into the main dining area where they proceeded to relax, assisted by copious amounts of food and drink.

Various different stations were set up around the venue, each offering a remarkable choice of worldwide delights. With the formalities over, the guests moved upstairs where they were pampered with hand and back massages, tea tasting and henna tattoos. Not to mention astrology readings, face painting and joyously partying the night away. Following the success of this year's event, BC have been asked by the Oysters to organise the next party in 2012. In our eyes, there's nothing more rewarding than repeat business – especially from clients who themselves set the highest of standards.

It seems that many clients have decided that the only way to deal with the unfavourable global economic climate is to look at it internationally and tackle it head on. Which probably explains why Beyond Certainty has been receiving an increasing number of requests to book and organise events all over the globe this year.

In recent months, we have been asked to provide proposals for activities in Brussels, as well as Portugal and Spain, whilst we are currently busy planning events in Berlin and across the USA. For us, it's extremely gratifying that our clients recognise our international capabilities. We know from wide experience that working overseas can be both tough and challenging. But we're always up for it!

The Royal Wedding might be history, but for many of us the wedding season is in full swing! In fact, BC enjoys an outstanding reputation for weddings... and our events diary is dotted with them up until late September. And that doesn't just include finding the most suitable venues – although our bookings seem to indicate we're pretty good at that.

More and more couples are also asking us to take care of their lighting and sound arrangements. And why not? They say that the older you get, the more you want to enjoy the birthdays. Well that was definitely the case at Beyond Certainty's 10th anniversary party at the Royal Exchange on 15th July. (Well, if we can't organise a spectacular celebratory bash for ourselves, we shouldn't be in the business at all should we?!?!)

To begin the evening on the right note, guests entering the venue were serenaded by beautiful violinists. Thrilling entertainment was provided by street dancers, topless models, a scintillating burlesque show and much more besides. And, as you would expect, there was a delicious selection of food and drinks to help the evening along smoothly.

Later on in the evening, the party really got wild as guests moved upstairs to dance the night away with even more musical entertainment and a brilliant saxophone player. A masseuse was in attendance to soothe those who maybe found the going a bit strenuous, whilst a strategically-situated photobooth captured the happy images of many partygoers for posterity (or in some cases perhaps, blackmail!).

A truly fantastic evening finally came to an end at around 3am. But there are unsubstantiated rumours that some guests carried on partying through the night and haven't been spotted since. These are just rumours, of course...

BC would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to all of those who attended. You helped to make our 10th anniversary an occasion to remember. Here's looking forward to the next 10 years.
